Happy Birthday, Grandma Farr

Grandma Farr was almost a Valentine baby. We got together as a family on the 13th to celebrate her 65th birthday. We missed Tosh and Julie - but they have more exciting things going on in their lives. Grandma and Grandpa took us to Toad's in Harrisville. We played a round of miniature golf and then played on the arcade games. We didn't take our camera in so we missed out on some great pictures (Dad, that's a hint that we need copies of yours). Then we went back to their house for dinner, valentine games Grandma had prepared, and birthday cake. Thanks for sharing your day with us, Grandma! We love you!

American Idols?

I went in the front room to find Sabrina and her best buddy, Charly hooked together by Sabrina's MP3 player. I think it's obvious from the video which song they were listening too. Here's a smile maker if you need one...

Perfect Moments

Every once in a while, as a parent, we are given moments that make all the tough times worth it. While I don't miss diapers, or getting everyone dressed, I do miss those cuddle times with my babies. We are cherishing the last few moments we have with Kali when she'll let us cuddle and coo all over her. Saturday she was coming down with a cold and really needed a nap. As I was sitting at the kitchen table, talking with Rory, she came up for me to cuddle her. She soon fell asleep. I used that as an opportunity to hold her while she slept and even caught a few Z's myself. What a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Rory was also able to steal a few minutes when she held still and let him rock her. It just so happened that their church clothes matched!
