Memorial Weekend

We bought a camper trailer earlier this spring. Memorial Day Weekend was our first chance to try it out. It was wonderful! We just went to Willard Bay, so it was nice and close. The first 2 days were perfect weather. Monday brought on the rain and the bird sized mosquitoes. We had fun going with the Lamb family. The kids always had someone to play with. They climbed trees, found interesting hideouts in the underbrush, played in the ice cold water up to their thighs, and enjoyed playing games together. It was fun being away from the rest of the world to make memories and spend time together. We had a few mishaps, including me forgetting to fold in the stairs and getting them nearly ripped off on a wall (oops). But over all we can't wait to go again.

Run for Fun

Miranda had the opportunity to participate in the Wellsville Mile this year. She and many other fourth and fifth graders from around the south end of Cache Valley all raced in a mile long event. She had fun training and completing the much anticipated race.

She did it in 9 minutes and 59 seconds!

Arianna In Her Element

You always hope that your children find something in life that they truly love. Well, Arianna has found it in performing. She claims that she is nervous performing in front of people, but I've never seen anyone more natural on stage (except maybe her Aunt Brianna). She's been apart of the performing group TaVaci this year. She loved every minute of it. Her performance was on May 10th. She even got to sing a specialty number with 3 other girls. It was fun seeing her do what she loves.

Kalista stole the cookies from the kitchen counter...But if you look cute enough you can get away with anything!

Our part-time daughter

Our neighbor, Alyssa comes to play with us each morning before school. Since she's become part of the family we had to include her in our blog. She's such a sweet girl. All of the kids fight over who will get to play with her each morning. It's great incentive to get their jobs done each day! Happy Eighth Birthday, Alyssa!

Two More Eyes in the Family

A couple of months ago Ari started squinting and it eventually got worse. It wasn't much of a surprise given her parents eye sight, but we finally took her in and she needed glasses. We picked them up last night. She was so excited to have them. As we left the store she just kept giggling she was so happy. She loves how she can see everything again. Watch out Jake, you're next!
